In 1981, Denise Glenn would have never imagined that God would take the Bible study she began teaching to five ladies and spread it throughout the world. But today, that is just what He is doing! Since 2000, when the MotherWise Prayer Network began praying for the nations of the world to come to know Christ, God has swung wide doors of opportunity for this ministry to reach many of those nations.

As God began to open doors for MotherWise and FatherWise around the world, David and Denise Glenn, ministry founders, realized that an umbrella organization was needed to include MotherWise, FatherWise, the Prayer Network and whatever else God may continue to unfold. Kardo International Ministries was founded to be that umbrella as a 501 (3) C non-profit organization. In amazing ways, God has provided the people and the financial resources for translations in: English, Spanish, Mandarin, German, Russian, Korean, Mongolian, Telugu (India), Kiswahili, Vietnamese, Tagalog (Philippines), Indonesian, Arabic, Portuguese, Polish, French and Romanian.

God has also shown us many countries that can use either English or translations other than their national language due to occupation of their country by other nations. For example: the Russian translation can be used in Ukraine because Russian was taught in the Ukrainian schools during the Russian occupation of Ukraine and English can be used in Kenya due to their British cultural heritage

FatherWise

FatherWise is Kardo's ministry to men, offering Bible studies and leadership training to help strengthen their marriages, improve their parenting and grow in their faith by studying God's Word.

FatherWise International

As God began to open doors for MotherWise, requests came for David to begin FatherWise ministry for men. Based on the MotherWise Bible studies, David began writing the FatherWise studies in 2000, and God began opening doors for the FatherWise ministry to disciple men of all ages. David is a retired geophysicist who worked in the oil and gas industry for 40 years. Drawing from his experiences as a man of God working in a secular industry, David speaks to men about their relationships with God, their wives and children and about real work experiences. Wisdom for Fathers and Freedom for Fathers are Bible studies written for husbands and fathers, coupled with David’s insights gained from a lifetime of experiences. Wisdom for Men is an updated version and is based on Wisdom for Fathers but is directed to a larger audience of men from all stages of life. Keeping the Secrets of Jesus and Winter Season are Bible studies co-written by David and Denise Glenn. Secrets covers the topics of giving, fasting and praying in secret while Winter Season is based on Ecclesiastes and answers the questions, “What is the best way to live my life?” and “How to Prepare my Heirs.”
